for the senior in college

As I prepare to walk the stage at graduation, I find myself apprehensive about walking into the next stage of my life. Although I'm ready to not have hours of homework, I'm not prepared to live hours away from my best friends.

The words of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 remind us that for everything there is a season, a time under heaven. There was a time to move into my dorm room for the first time, and before I know it, it will be time to recieve my diploma.

I find peace that through the changing of my circumstances, the Lord has been a constant presence in my life. He was with me through the highs and lows of college, and will be with me in post-grad.

No matter where we move or where our career path takes us, may we trust the Lord to guide us, helping us remain on the straight and narrow path, for it is the path which leads to eternal life.
